Copying a Cassette Tape from
External Device
You can make copies of cassette tapes for your enjoyment.
• You CANNOT copy a DVD to a cassette tape.
Warning:
• Unauthorized recordings of copyrighted cassette tapes may
be an infringement of copyright laws.
• Connect this unit and a source (for playback) device
as shown the following diagram.

Insert a pre-recorded cassette tape into the external
device (VCR, camcorder, etc.).

Insert a cassette tape to record into
this unit's cassette compartment.

Press [SPEED] to select the desired tape speed
(SP/SLP).

Press [SELECT] until "AUX" appears on the TV screen.

Press [REC/OTR I] on the unit.

Begin playback of the cassette tape in the device.

To stop copying, press [STOP/EJECT C A] on the unit,
then stop the playback on the device.
Note:
• For best results during copying, use the control panel whenever
possible. The remote control might affect the operation of the
external device.
