NOTE: This feature will work only if the Chrono is reset when the
Timer reaches "0". If the Chrono is not reset at that point, the
Timer will simply stop at the end of it's countdown and the
Chrono will not be started. It is important, therefore, to check
that the Chrono is reset before starting the Timer with this
action at the end of the countdown.
Setting the Timer
1. Press SET/FORMAT to begin the setting procedure.
2. After the setting reminder display, the watch will display the
Timer countdown time with the tens value of the hours digit
+
flashing. Press DISPLAY (
decrease the value, respectively. You may hold the keys down
to quickly advance through the value.
3. When the value is set correctly, press SET/FORMAT (SELECT) to
move to the next digit, in this case the ones value of the hour
setting.
4. Continue through minutes and seconds in the same way until
the desired time is set.

Note that the Timer will be reset after you exit the setting
mode.
Viewing Performance Data
When using the Speed + Distance Sensor or the Heart Rate
Sensor, you can monitor your performance data in the bottom
line on the display. Viewing this data is simply a matter of pressing
and releasing the DISPLAY button until you see the data that
you want:
• Current Speed
• Current Pace
• Distance traveled since the Timer was running. If the Timer is
not running, this value will not increase. The distance data is
cleared when the Timer is started from reset.
