1. SAFETY WARNINGS
1.1 Warnings
Before using the stove for the first time please read carefully this manual.
- Before using the stove for the first time, make sure that all accessories and components have been supplied: Crucible (top
and bottom), the cast iron deflector for the ash, as described in this manual.
- Before turning it on you must make sure that the crucible is in the correct position, is not full of ash and that the power
supply is correctly plugged in, as well as ensuring that the door is securely closed.
- In case of power failure, do not repeat the operation until you know the cause of the problem.
- If during operation the combustible runs out, stop the stove and wait until the stove is completely stopped and cold. Then
load the pellet.
- The stove has a safety system that in case of problems interrupts the fall of pellet. Before turning on again, check the
reason for the error.
- Check the stove completely before connecting it to the power.
- For a proper operation make sure that smoke outlet is not blocked, and that proper stove maintenance described in this
manual has been done.
- Use only pellet of good quality.
- Do not open the door of the stove when it is in operation.
- Do not polish the glass.
- Avoid using stove at maximum power for a long time
- Do not turn on and off the stove intermittently, it may cause damage to electronic components or the electro-mechanisms.
- The pellet stove can only be turned on after installing the smoke outlet pipe.
- Some parts of the stove can reach high temperatures, and should therefore be handled only with adequate protection. We
recommend you not to place any objects near or on top of the stove.
- The stove is an electronic device and can produce electric shock if it is not used / handled correctly.
- Do not place smoke evacuation pipe close to the ambient probe, electrical wires or inflammable material.
- It is normal that during the first few times the stove is in use, it gives off unpleasant smells due to the overheating of painted
components.
One can load the pellet tank while the stove is working, but one should never load the pellet directly to the fire
area. In case one has run totally out of pellet, stop the stove, let it cool completely down and load it.
All DUCASA products are tested in the factory: quality control, verification of components and final review while
turned on. It is therefore normal that you might find remains of ashes inside the stove.
1.2 Safety warnings
Our stoves are manufactured under strict control with special emphasis in each of the components, in order to protect the
user and the installer against mishaps that might occur. For this reason we recommend:
• For authorized personnel, after each intervention / manipulation on the product, to verify all the electrical connections with
the purpose to prevent short circuits or electrical shock.
• The installation shall be carried out by authorized personnel, who shall be required to provide the user a declaration of
conformity for the installation. The installer will be responsible for installing the product in accordance with existing rules as
well as ensure a smooth operation of the installed product.
• It is necessary to be aware of all the existing European, national, regional, local standards in the country of installation, as
well as their corresponding laws.
• DUCASA declines any responsibility in case of failure to observe these precautions.
• This manual is part of the product: One must ensure that is always delivered with the product both in the case of hand over
to another user or after a movement. If the manual is defect or lost, one should ask for a new one through the technical
assistance service.
• This stove should be used for the purpose that it has been manufactured for.
