WARNING! When the shoe is raised, the roller DOES NOT TURN, this only occurs when the shoe is
pressing on the roller.
The shoe should be left raised while the machine is heating.
4.2.
Adjusting the temperature
When the machine is turned on, the heating does not automatically come on. To turn the heating on,
select one of the four available operating temperatures using the control panel which has a SET button
for selecting the temperature: 50º, 100º, 150º or 180º only when the machine is switched on. Every time
the button is pressed, the next possible temperature is selected. On the 5th press the heating is
disconnected. The selected temperature is displayed by the corresponding indicator light, which flashes
until the selected temperature is reached and then it remains lit.
If the temperature of the shoe is higher than one or both of the higher temperature selections, the
corresponding lights will flash quickly, indicating that the selected temperature is much lower than the
true temperature. An electronic control guarantees that the temperature is kept stable and uniform, by
frequently switching the heating on and off. As a result, the machine makes a clicking noise which should
be considered normal as the resistor contactor is activated and deactivated.
4.3.
Switching off the machine
If the "STOP" button is pressed, the machine automatically switches off if the shoe is raised and locked
in this position. If the shoe is not in this position, pressing the "STOP" button will only switch off the
heating and the machine will wait until the shoe moves into position to turn off.
4.4.
Power failure
WARNING! THE SHOE CAN ONLY BE RAISED AND LOWERED MANUALLY. THEREFORE THE
USER SHOULD POSITION IT ACCORDING TO THE STATE OF THE MACHINE.
When, for any reason, the power supply to the machine is disconnected, the machine switches off,
stopping the movement of the roller and the temperature control. In this case there are two possible
situations:
1- If, when the power is restored, the shoe is in the raised position, the machine will be in the
normal off state, with the orange light on the "STOP" button lit up to indicate the presence of
power.
2- If, when the power is restored, the shoe is not in the raised position, the machine switches on
alone with all the lights flashing, waiting for the shoe to be placed in the correct position so that
the machine can switch off and return to situation 1.
4.5.
Selecting the different types of fabric
Select the clothes to be ironed, separating them according to the fabric type and start ironing the items
that require lower temperatures, moving on to more heat resistant articles and increasing the
temperature as required. In this way, it is possible to save time by avoiding the need to wait for the shoe
to cool down before ironing items that need lower temperatures.
The items to be ironed should have a relative humidity of between 5% and 10%.
A table is given below listing the correct temperatures for the different fabric types:

Nylon-artificial silk
Silk-wool
