Ordinary maintenance performed by the operator

During the use, cleaning and maintenance of the machine, make sure that no tools or hands are inserted
in the moving parts (motor, chain, etc.). In the event of accident, the manufacturer does not accept
liability for any injury to the operator or other person sustained during the use, cleaning or maintenance
of the machine. Regularly wash the panels of the lining with a damp cloth; do not use inflammable or
abrasive products.
NEVER USE PRESSURISED WATER TO CLEAN THE MACHINE.
Every 200 hours of operation, anti-static wax should be applied to the fabric ironing surface to prevent
linen from being snagged on the surface and to keep the shoe clean at all times. Instructions on how to
apply the wax are given on the packaging.
Every 200 hours of operation, remove the outer cover of the roller, undoing the ties found below the
fabric, at the sides of the roller, wash the fabric in hot water (first cover) and leave the padding to soak in
cold water (second cover). Then dry the padding away from direct sunlight and replace the fabric while it
is still damp, without ironing it.
Always leave the fabric cover open (separated from the roller) once the maintenance has been finished.
BEFORE CONNECTING THE MACHINE TO THE POWER SUPPLY AT THE MAINS, REPLACE ALL
THE PANELS THAT HAVE BEEN REMOVED.

SUPPLY OF SPARE PARTS

Location of damage

If the machine does not work, check the following:
That the mains switch is on and the machine is powered.
That the emergency stop switch is not activated.
That the starter button (START) has been pressed.
If the ends of the cylinder get too dark and the centre of the iron is lighter and lighter, start ironing
at the sides to maximise use of the temperature all over the fabric, so that the cylinder starts to
become more even and it is possible to obtain a good press.
If the shoe heats up too much and damages clothing or if it does not heat up enough:
o Check the thermostat temperature control and make sure it is compatible with the fabric
type being ironed.
o Check, with the fabric open and cold, that the machine reaches the temperature at the top
of the scale within a maximum of 15 minutes.
On completion of the above operations, if the incident persists, please call the authorised Technical
Assistance Service.
