Generator
Appliance connection
• Start the machine as indicated in page 10. Wait five
minutes unloaded, steadily running to warm the motor
and then connect the appliances.
WARNING
• When welding, do not use the
machine as a power generator. Remove the soldering
cables, otherwise injuries can happen.
• Verify the generator switch (C) is off. Moving the lever
downwards.
• After starting the machine, determine the voltage
necessary for the appliances to be connected using the
voltage selector (A).
• When the machine is running in a stable speed set the
generator switch into the ON position moving the lever
upwards.
• Connect the appliances you need (B) into the connection
panel power outputs.
CAUTION
• When connecting more than one
appliance in the 120 V power outlets, connect first the one
using higher current to start.
CAUTION
• Verify the appliances do not exceed the
generator's rated current for more than 30 minutes and
never exceeding the maximum load output.
• - To assure the generator can supply enough energy to
start and run the power appliances to be connected,
follow the next steps to calculate the watts necessary to
not exceed the generator's capacity:
1. Determine which power appliances will be connected
simultaneously.
2. The amount of energy needed to make all the
appliances function is the sum of rated watts' power in
those appliances. The values of the sums shall not exceed
the generator's capacity.
3. During the starting process power appliances will each
produce high currents. Therefore, appliances shall be
turned on, one by one. Appliances shall not start at the
same time.
CAUTION
• To learn the rated output of the
appliances, consult the table in the right as a reference, or
the technical specifications in each appliances'
instructions.
Shut Off
• Shut off the generator switch (C).
• Set the switch (E) into the off position (O).
• Close the fuel key (D).
• Disconnect all appliances from the connection panel.
• When due to an emergency, the
CAUTION
machine should be tuned off, do it in just one step by
setting the switch (E) in the off position.

Overload
CAUTION
• If an important overload is generated,
the generator switch (C) will shut off. It is possible that a
marginal overload will not shut off the general switch but
will reduce the useful life of the machine.
• If the generator switch shuts off due to
CAUTION
an overloaded circuit, reduce the electric load in the circuit
and wait a few minutes before restarting the generator's
switch.
• Each 120 V polarized double plug has a
NOTA
built-in overload protector. If the protector is activated,
wait a couple of seconds and press it to restart.
