Multifunction absorber:

a) Fall indicator:
Check the fall indicator is in place on the multifunction absorber
at the end of the lifeline:
After a fall or a sufficiently high
force to activate the absorber, the
force indicator will trip and an
indication "STOP" will appear. It
is essential to replace the
absorber and check the entire
installation, by a Xenon approved
installer, before using the lifeline
again.

Pre-tension indicator
2) If the green indicator
is not visible, the line
tension is too low (less
than 80 daN). The lifeline
may be damaged!
Fall indicator
b) Pre-tension indicator:
Check the pre-tension of the lifeline:
It is essential to check your installation when:
1) If the red indicator is clearly
visible by more than 5 mm, the
line tension is too high (in
excess of 100 daN).
N.B.: For a Xenon lifeline not equipped with a
multifunction absorber, before use, check there
is not excessive cable slack in the lifeline. In
case of doubt, refer to the installer.
