8. Wi-Fi connection
• This product can connect via Wi-Fi with a iOS or Android tablet or
smartphone. To make a connection, follow the steps below:
• Install the XDV app on your smartphone or tablet. You can find it in
Google Play Store (for devices working on Android) or in the APP
Store (for iOS).
• After turning on the camera, go to the MENU mode, then the DEVI-
CE MENU and select the Wi-Fi checkbox
• Turn on the Wi-Fi network on your smartphone or tablet. Search for
the network generated by the camera and connect to the network
with the name displayed by the camera. Enter the access password
(default password: 1234567890).
• After establishing the connection, appropriate information will be di-
splayed on the screen. It is not possible to view the recordings and
the shot frame on the camera screen during a Wi-Fi connection.
• After establishing a Wi-Fi connection between the camera and a
smartphone/tablet thanks to the XDV app, you can change the
camera settings and have a live preview of the recorded image.
