17) MALFUNCTIONS AND REMEDIES
17.1) The motor does not tu0rn
- Check that the control unit is correctly supplied with power, the fuses are unda-
maged, and the diagnosing LEDs indicate the correct functions (see instructions
for the control unit).
- Use an appropriate instrument to check the presence of voltage at the ends of
the gearmotor after the opening or closing command.
- If the motor vibrates but does not turn, it may be due to:
A) wrong connection of common wire C (blue in all case);
B) no connection of the drive capacitor to the terminals provided in the control unit.
17.2) The motor turns and the door does not open
- The emergency release is activated: restore motor-driven operation.
- Motor drive connections are reversed. Try and reverse them at the control unit
terminals.
- Operation time in the control unit could be set to minimum.
- Check the oil level (see paragraph on maintenance), top up if necessary. The oil
must be topped up by qualified personnel.
17.3) Faulty operation of electrical accessories
In case of any fault, all the control and safety devices can cause operation ano-
malies or lock of the actual operator.
To identify the fault, all the operator devices must be disconnected, one by one,
until the cause of the fault is identified. After repairing or replacing any faulty
device, reset all the previously disconnected devices. For all the devices installed,
make reference to their respective instruction manual.
WARNING: This operation must be carried out by qualified personnel. During
maintenance operations, the door operating area must be properly indicated and
enclosed in order to avoid any danger to persons, animals and things.
18) NOISE LEVEL
The aerial noise produced by the gearmotor in normal operating conditions is
constant and does not exceed 70 dB(A).
