Replacing the pump head and diaphragm
CAUTION!
Diaphragm:
– Before changing the diaphragm, it is essential to change the pump to
servicing mode.
– Only tighten diaphragms by hand and do not use any tools!
The service life of the diaphragm depends on the following:
– back pressure
– operating temperature
– and metering medium
We recommend that you check the diaphragm more frequently in extreme
operating conditions and if metering abrasive substances.
NOTICE!
It is essential that the tightening torques given below are observed, firstly to
ensure the leak-tightness of the system and secondly to ensure the integrity of
the thread.
The tightening torques of the metering head screws are given on an adhesive
label that is affixed to the pump head.
