The purpose of the Instruction Manual for the VEGA bar safety cover is to give you all the information
you will require to install and use the cover, as well as to keep it in good condition. It is essential to read
this document carefully and store it in a safe, clearly identified place, for subsequent use.
Use appropriate safety gear (protective footwear, goggles, mask, gloves, suitable clothing) during
installation operations. Refer to the Manuals supplied by the manufacturers of portable electric tools
and substances used.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
POOL SUPERVISION
- Remember that a child can drown in less than three minutes, in 20 cm of water.
- A swimming pool can constitute a grave danger for your children. A child can drown in a very short
space of time.
- You must take special care and be extremely vigilant at all times, whenever children are close to a
pool, even if they can swim.
- A parent and/or a responsible adult must be present at all times when the cover has been removed
from the pool.
- Learn the actions that can save lives.
- Memorise the emergency rescue numbers and post them near the pool :
- Emergency rescue : 18 or 112 (for France).
- Emergency medical teams : 15 (for France).
- Poison control centre.
