USE
There should be no bathers in the pool when the cover is being installed or opened and
closed.
UNCOVERING THE POOL
Loosen the straps by releasing the ratchets (release them by raising both the springs at the same time),
and then move them out of the way so they are not rolled up with the cover (risk of tearing, not
covered by the guarantee).
Place the unrolling strap along the length of the pool (centred width wise).
Connect the end of the operating handle (male, square) onto the winding shaft (female, round).
Roll the cover up using the handle (or handles if the pool surface is over 9 x 4.5 metres).
COVERING THE POOL
Pull on the unrolling strap.
Centre the cover over the pool.
Attach the ratchets to the straps on the cover.
Repeat step 8 of the installation procedure.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
- In the closed position, there should be no folds in the cover and at least 20 centimetres should be
resting on the coping.
- The water should be kept at its optimal level (2/3 up the skimmer) by an appropriate filling system
(manual or automatic) and an overflow device (usually a knock-out at the top of the skimmer flowing by
gravity to the pipe).
- During the winter the pool, pipes and technical cubicle have to be kept from freezing, using over
wintering equipment (float, gizmos, plugs).
- The bolts/bushes have to be cleaned and lubricated regularly so that they retract correctly, as
otherwise they could constitute a hazard (lesions to the feet in the event of a bump or fall).
CLEANING
Remove the cover from the pool and place it flat out on an appropriate surface (take care to avoid
plants and sharp objects that are liable to damage the sheeting).
Rinse both sides of the cover with running water and, if necessary, clean dirtier areas with a non-
abrasive sponge and water line cleaner.
MAINTENANCE
In the event of wear or damage, replace any defective parts immediately.
If the malfunction prevents the pool from being closed and made safe, all necessary
measures should be taken to prevent access to the pool by young children until the
problem has been repaired by a qualified person.
Visual check on elements used for fastening and moving the
cover.
Complete clean.
Thorough check on all the cover's components (condition and
assembly of sheeting, straps, ratchets, bolts, chafe pads, ...).
Removing snow from the cover using an implement that will
not damage it, such as a brush or broom with synthetic bristles.
