Initial operation

Always switch off the appliance and remove the mains plug from the mains
socket before assembling or disassembling the appliance and fitting or
changing accessories . Wait until the motor stops completely .
►
Do not connect the appliance to the mains until it has been completely
assembled .
►
Be careful when handling the drums 2 3 4 5 0 .
The blades are very sharp!

Before first use, clean all parts of the appliance as described in the section
Cleaning .
♦
Pull the power cable fully out of the cable storage compartment 7 .
♦
Set up the appliance on a level, dry and non-slip surface .
♦
Fit the drum housing 9:
–
Insert the drum housing 9 so that the arrow ▸ on the drum housing 9
points to the open lock symbol
–
Turn the drum housing 9 anticlockwise so that the feed tube q points
upwards and the arrow ► on the drum housing 9 points to the closed
lock symbol on the appliance . The drum housing 9 engages
noticeably .
–
Insert the pusher w into the feed tube q .

Insert a drum 2 3 4 5 0 into the drum housing 9, as described in the
section Inserting/removing a drum .
♦
Carefully stack the remaining drums in the storage container 6 and close
the lid 1 . Slide the storage container 6 from above onto the locking
device at the rear end of the appliance .
♦
Insert the plug into a suitable mains socket .
The appliance is now ready for use .
