REPEATER
EN
Domestic radiofrequency devices have a limited scope and often seem insufficient. In addition,
strong weaknesses can occur even though the requested range seems reasonable (fading).
The Repeater function of the RFP1000 offers the possibility to increase the range of radios and
extend the coverage of radiofrequency systems in the home and outside.
The signals received by the RFP1000 are re-formatted, re-amplified and re-transmitted.
The Repeater operates autonomously and does not require the presence of a home automation
system.
Simply plug the RFP1000 into a 220V-USB power supply to ensure the Repeater function.
By default and in factory configuration, when power is applied, the repeater is enabled and active on
ALL protocols. However, you can specify with the configurator the list of protocols to repeat.
Repetition is intelligent:
- The frames are recognized and restored,
- RFPlayer waits for the best time to re-transmit the signal to avoid radio frequency collision.
The scope is therefore greatly increased and the radiofrequency exchanges carried out with better
reliability.
The repeater can only be active with protocols that use listening frequencies. These frequencies are
specified in the receiver tab. Refer to the Receiver section. After configuration, unplug the RFP1000
from your computer and reconnect it to the 220V-USB power supply.
