It is the responsibility of the installer/owner to ascertain
compliance with specific local regulations prior to installation.
Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A. gives no guarantee in this respect and
denies all responsibility regarding compliance of the instal-

Technical specifications
The MaxiJacuzzi Andros (
proximately 1260 litres. Its power supply is single-phase (220-240
V), and all its electro-mechanical organs and pipes are contained
within its perimeter.
It is equipped with one 2-Hp, 2-speed pump.
There are 25 hydromassage jets.
The skimmer contains 1 filter cartridge, which ensures water fil-
tering; its filtering surface is 2.3 m
Andros Performance: in this case, the filtering action is provided
by a sand filter (provided separately, with a circulation pump and
a support base, see the corresponding installation manual).

The electrical system that powers the spa must absolutely be sized
for maximum consumption (as shown in the table). If sufficient elec-
trical energy is not available, an electronic energy consumption limiter
can be activated.
- alternative consumption: 3,6 kW (when the hydromassage pump
is run, the electric heater goes off).
User safety
I If the system has been installed by qualified personnel in compliance
with the directives contained in the second part of the installation man-
ual, it does not present any hazard for users. Safety, however, is also
connected to a correct use, as specified in the first part of this man-
ual; and the user must entrust to qualified personnel all the operations
described in the second part.
I It is important to check that personnel in charge of installation and
running the system are qualified in compliance with the law provisions
in force in the Country where installation is carried out.
I For special maintenance operations and/or repairs, you should always
apply to authorised service centres and use only original spare parts.

a ground drainage point of suitable dimensions and that can be in-
spected for any cleaning.

Andros Performance: connection must also be provided to
the drain for periodic backwash and possible emptying of the sand
filter installed on the spa-pak, as well as electrical and plumbing
connection between the spa-pak and the MaxiJacuzzi
corresponding installation manual).
IMPORTANT! Before preparing the drain pit, consult
the local authorities about the regulations for the
discharging of chemically-treated water.
I To empty the MaxiJacuzzi
the drain valve, after removing the closure cap and screwing on the
connector with seal (supplied,
N.B. To open the valve, you must turn the ring nut anticlockwise
and pull it, therefore if you decide to connect the MaxiJacuzzi®
permanently to the ground drainage point, we recommend you
install a valve below, bypassing the valve installed in the factory.
I The position of the drain pit depends on the type of installation.
The Andros/Andros Performance can be installed in different ways:

it is necessary to create a supporting base under the bottom of the
tub (concrete, steel H-beams, detail 1).
It is also necessary to ensure the accessibility of the pipes and of all
the electromechanical organs unuder the tub, for instance by creat-
ing a passage around the external perimeter of the tub. This passage
must be wide enough (approx. 80 cm) to house all the electrical and
hydraulic connections and to allow possible future maintenance
operations (detail 2); it can be closed by removable mats (detail 3),
resting on suitable supports (detail 4). It is also necessary to make
arrangements for draining, in case of stagnant water (detail 5).
Prolonged sun exposure could damage the material of
which is made the spa shell, due to its capacity to absorb
heat (dark colours in particular). Don't leave the spa to sun
exposure without adequate protection when not in use
(cover thermal, gazebo, etc.).
Any damage arising by not following these warnings are
not covered by the guarantee.
I In any case, a base support must be made that is suitable to hold
the weight of the Andros model MaxiJacuzzi
