Problem
While core drilling the core
drill has locked/jammed in the
material

Possible cause
Excessive pressure on tool at the point of break-
through in the material
Hammer mode is on
Core drill is not suitable for drill
Large build-up of debris inside core drill while
operating
Tool is being used for too long
No power, fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped
Power cable damaged
On/off trigger switch faulty
Faulty motor
Tool is overheating
Carbon brushes worn
Gearbox low on grease
Internal moving parts excessively worn
Material too dense or thick
Chisel tip worn
Tool incorrectly set
Hammer mode not selected
Drill bit tip worn or damaged
Very dense material
Debris and dirt getting into chuck
Solution
Reduce pressure before breakthrough
Ensure hammer mode is off to prevent damage to cutting teeth and to
reduce possibility of jamming
Ensure the core drill max speed and diameter are compatible with the
drill
Regularly empty the build-up of debris to ensure safe operation
Take frequent breaks and read the sections in this manual regarding
vibration
Check and replace fuse if necessary or reset circuit breaker. In the
event of the fuse blowing after replacing, or the circuit breaker tripping
again, immediately contact an authorised service centre

drilled first to speed up the drilling process

the chuck as if to insert bits. Ensure dust guard is used to prevent
debris entering chuck
