T-Connector Wiring Harness
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2.
Remove both taillight assemblies
by using a Torx T-30 driver or socket
to remove the Torx head screw on the
front of the vehicle taillight assembly
(Fig. 1). Carefully pull the taillight
assembly directly rearward being
careful not to damage the locking
tabs. Separate the wiring connectors
while being careful not to break the locking tabs and set
the assemblies aside.
3. Beginning on the passenger's side, locate the taillight
connectors that match the T-Connector assembly. Inspect the
connectors for dirt and debris and clean if necessary.
Plug the Gray two wire T-Connector ends containing the Green
wire into the vehicle harness connectors. Plug the Black three
wire T-Connector ends containing the Brown and Red wires into
the mating vehicle connectors. Press firmly until they lock into
place. Take care not to damage the locking tabs.
4. Route the T-Connector containing the Yellow wire
between the body and bumper to the driver's side taillight
housing. Utilize the steel channel used for the bumper to fish
the T-Connector through. Repeat step 3 using the
T-Connector ends containing the Yellow wire.
5. Locate an appropriate position on the vehicle frame to
attach the White wire that has the ring terminal attached to it.
