It is suggest to register all maintenance operation execu-
ted.
During maintenance keep particular attention in
i
order to avoid the introduction of small external
parts, that could compromise the device safety.
It is forbidden to execute any operations with the
direct use of hands. Use water-resistant, anti-cut
gloves to disassemble and clean.
During
maintenance
i
personnel is not allowed.
Maintenance operations that are not described in this
manual must be made only by special personnel authori-
zed by Calpeda S.p.A.
For further technical information regarding the use or the
maintenance of the device, contact Calpeda S.p.A.

8.1 Routine maintenance

OFF
Before every maintenance operations disconnect
the power supply and make sure that the device
could not accidentally operate.
The pumps are made to function for many years in nor-
mal conditions with no need for maintenance.
At the beginning of each eating period, or after a
prolonged stand still, verify that the pump is not
jammed.
If the pump is jammed follow the manual cleaning
procedure described in the next paragraph.

9. DISMANTLING

OFF
Close the suction and delivery valves and drain the pump
casing before dismantling the pump.
The motor and all internal parts can be dismantled
without removing the pump casing and the pipes.

12. Troubleshooting

If a failure occurs in the pump, the cause of the failure will appear in the display.
The error is identified by two digits, the first digit explains the alarm type, the second digit is reserved for the technical
assistance.

Causes
No fluid on the system, check the presence of fluid
into the system.
Overcurrent into the motor or rotor locked, check if
rotor turn freely.
The temperature into the motor is too high . Pump
automatically restarts when the temperature go
down.
An electronic error occurred, the pump can operate
but assistance is required.
Interruption in the motor winding. Contact the techni-
cal assistance.
Before any servicing operation disconnect the
electrical power and wait until the water has
cooled inside the
pump, if is not possible use the suitable
protective devices to prevent the risk of
burns.
By removing the screws (fig. 6) the motor is taken out
complete with impeller.
Disassemble the motor and clean the impeller.

10. DISPOSAL

OFF
The final disposal of the device must be done by speciali-
zed company.
Make sure the specialized company follows the classifica-
tion of the material parts for the separation.
Observe the local regulations and dispose the device
accordingly with the international rules for environment
protection.

11 SPARE PARTS

11.1 Spare-parts request
When ordering spare parts, please quote the data stam-
ped on the name-plate (type, date and serial number).
The spare parts request shall be sent to CALPEDA S.p.A.
by phone, fax, e-mail.
