10. Interior LED Features.
● In the LOCKED position: LED will flash ORANGE every
3-5 seconds if LOCKED.
● In the UNLOCKED position: LED will flash GREEN
every 3-5 seconds if UNLOCKED.
● An additional RED flash, indicates "low battery" condition.
11. SmartCode User Selectable Settings.
a. The panel of SmartCode feature switches are located to the right of the
program button. These switches enable and
disable the following SmartCode settings.
Switch #1
the ON position. Note: The low battery
RED LED cannot be disabled.
Switch #2 Enables the AUTO LOCK
when in the ON position. With Auto Lock
enabled, SmartCode will automatically relock the door
(extend the bolt) 30 seconds after unlocking.
Switch #3 Enables the AUDIO sound (Beeper)
when in the ON position.
Switch #4 Extra switch with NO FUNCTION.
b. Select the features that you want to enable or disable
and move the switch to the appropriate position. Hint: for
easier access, use a ball point pen to operate the switches.
12. Low Battery Indicators.
The interior LED (when switch #1 is in the ON position).
● With unit in the locked position the LED will flash ORANGE then flash
Red, and repeat every 5 seconds.
● With unit in the unlocked position the LED will flash GREEN then Red,
every 5 seconds.
● Regardless of switch #1 position, under "Low Battery" condition - red
LED will flash every 5 seconds.
The exterior Keypad.
● Will light RED when "Lock" button is pressed
The Audio Indicator (when switch #3 is in the ON position).
● Five seconds after an "Unlock" command, the beeper will sound for 5
seconds.
Note: For future battery replacement, remove battery pack, replace batter-
ies (see section 7) and simply reinsert battery pack as shown, a beep and
a Green LED flash will indicate a successful system initialization. No bolt
direction determination is required after the initial installation unless the lock
is re-installed on a different door.
