INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
1. DESCRIPTION OF ELEMENTS
Introduction
Heat exchangers are designed for heating the water of swimming pools or spas. Do not
therefore try to turn on the heat exchanger if you are not sure whether water is flowing
through the interior. Minimum necessary flow: 2500 Lts/h – Maximum service pressure:
1,5Bar
Power cable
For the mains supply of the exchanger, with the size being suitable for the power of the
exchanger.
Manual reset switch
If the exchanger has stopped working because the security temperature (60ºC or 65ºC
depending on the model) has been exceeded, it will not operate again until it has been
reset manually.
Before resetting, check and correct the causes of the anomaly. See the
fault-finding tables with the causes and solutions.
If the appliance is reset without the anomaly being checked, it may work again but some
of its inner security devices will no doubt have been affected. To reset, unscrew the cap
and press hard; this device may not allow resetting after its triggering as the temperature
must go below 35º.
45ºC thermostat
Can be adjusted manually. Turn it, and taking the mark as a reference, select the desired
temperature. Operating differential +0 –2ºC.
2. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Owing to its easy installation, this equipment can be assembled by an adult in about 1
hour. Care must be taken at all times to follow carefully the instructions given in this
manual.
VERY IMPORTANT
Install it below the water level or under the suction nozzles or
skimmers. Make sure that the exchanger is always flooded with water.
