Installing the Upper Chute Tube
1. Peel the backing off of the self-adhesive foam strip
(721-04388) that has been included within your Carton of
Contents. Apply it to the upper chute, flush against the
flange as shown in Figure 4-24.

2. With the grass catcher cover open, install the upper
discharge chute through the discharge chute opening, as
seen in Figure 4-25.

3. With the ability now to wiggle the discharge chute tube
back and forth, slide it over the chute elbow mounted on
the cutting deck, as shown in Figure 4-26.

4. Continue to work the discharge chute down over the chute
elbow until the groove on the discharge chute aligns with
the upper chute support, as seen in the inset of Figure 4-27.
