The field bus node CPX−FB13 for CPX terminals is intended
exclusively for use as a slave on the PROFIBUS−DP.
The maximum values specified in the section Technical
specifications" must be observed here. Detailed informa
tion can be found in the manual for the field bus node
P.BE−CPX−FB13−.. as well as in the CPX system manual
P.BE−CPX−SYS−.. .
Warning
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
S Use power supplies which guarantee reliable electri
cal isolation of the operating voltage as per IEC/DIN
EN 60204−1. Consider also the general requirements
for PELV circuits in accordance with IEC/DIN EN
60204−1.
S Connect an earth conductor of sufficient cross−
sectional area to the connection on the CPX terminal
marked with the earth symbol.
S The CPX field bus node contains electrostatically
sensitive components. Do not therefore touch any
contacts. Observe the regulations for handling elec
trostatically sensitive components.
Please note
Commission only a CPX terminal which has been fitted
and wired completely.
