After the system powers on, you can now load the Solaris™ operating
environment. Refer to the documentation that comes with your version of the
Solaris operating environment for instructions on loading and getting started
with the software (Solaris 2.5.1 and Solaris 2.6 software users see note below).
Note – If you plan on installing Solaris 2.5.1 or Solaris 2.6 software, you must first
install upgrade patches from CD. Use the Operating Environment Installation CD
that is included with your new system. Refer to the installation instructions in the
included document, Installing Solaris Software for Selected Hardware.
If you want to install optional system components, refer to "Installing Optional
Components" on page en-5.
If the system does not power on, or if there are any other problems, refer to
"Troubleshooting" on page en-14.

system specifications and service procedures.

with your system, contains:

removing and replacing system components and includes system specifications.
This manual is intended for advanced computer systems end users who have
experience troubleshooting and replacing hardware. You can also order this
manual in hard copy (805-6618), or view it online at: http://docs.sun.com
The Sun Ultra 80 ShowMe How Multimedia documentation, which demonstrates
Ultra 80 service procedures with interactive audio and video. These multimedia
procedures are integrated as links within the service manual.
Software
Refer to the documentation for the version of the Solaris operating environment you
are using.
