1. GENERAL WARNINGS
Carefully read the instructions contained in this manual, as they provide important
information about its safe installation, use and maintenance.
Keep this manual for future reference.
After removing the packaging, check the integrity of the appliance.
If there are any doubts, do not use the appliance and contact a professionally qualified
technician.
(ATTENTION: the packaging must be disposed of according to regulations)
Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the data on the plate corresponds to
the gas distribution network.
The appliance must only be used by personnel who have been trained in its use. Children
must be supervised to ensure they neither play with or use the appliance.Before
performing any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the appliance from the
gas supply and power (for electric ovens) and wait for it to cool down. De-activate
the appliance in the event of a failure or malfunction. For any repairs, refer exclusively
to the authorised technical assistance centre and request original replacement parts.
Failure to comply with the above will compromise the safety of the equipment.
The connection, installation of the system and equipment, ventilation and exhaust
must be carried out according to the manufacturer's instructions by professionally
qualified technicians in accordance with national legislation. Safety regulations must
also be followed. The electrical safety of this appliance is only ensured when it is
properly connected to an efficient earthing system as set forth in current electrical
safety regulations. This equipment must only be used for the purpose for which it
was specifically designed. Do not wash the equipment with jets of water under high
pressure. Do not obstruct the intake or heat dissipation slots or openings. In order to
avoid the risk of oxidation or chemical aggression in general, keep the stainless steel
surfaces clean. Clean the stainless steel parts daily with warm soapy water, then rinse
thoroughly and dry carefully. Never clean the stainless steel with steel wool, brushes
or common steel scrapers since they can deposit iron particles that oxidise and create
rust spots. Stainless steel wool can be used if necessary, in the same direction as the
satinising.
If the appliance is not used for long periods of time, close the gas valve and rub all of
the steel surfaces with a cloth dipped in Vaseline in order to create a protective coating;
otherwise, periodically air the premises.
Before connecting, check the technical plate on the device to make sure it was tested
and approved for the type of gas to be used.
