6 - USING THE APPLIANCE
6.1
Foreword
The appliance has been designed to heat and maintain the tem-
perature of cups or other similar containers.
The lower cup heating plate is to be used for the heating of cups.
The upper one is used to maintain the temperature of the heated
containers ready for use.
6.2
First switching on
-
Fill the basket with cups to be heated and place it on the lower
plate.
Cups and containers must be dry.

Switch on both heating elements by way of the two switches
(ref. 3-4, fig. 1).

When the cups have reached the right temperature, remove
the basket and empty it, placing the cups on the upper plate,
ready for use.

Once again fill the basket with cups and introduce it into the
lower plate.
Do not use plastic containers.
6.3
Ordinary switching on
Proceed with the same operation described in par. "6.2 First switch-
ing on".
6.4
Switching off the appliance
In case of short appliance dead times, it is necessary to:
-
switch the device off by setting the switches (ref. 3-4, fig. 1) to
position "O" and cut it off from mains by disconnecting the
plug;
-
clean all appliance components (see "7.2 Cleaning the appli-
ance").
For long dead times periods, see "6.5 Setting the appliance out of
service".
6.5
Setting the appliance
out of service
Operation falling within the competence of the
Maintenance technician.
In case the appliance should be set out of service, it is necessary
to disconnect it from the power supply.
In case of appliance scrapping, the various materials used in the
manufacture will have to be separated and individually disposed
of, according to each Country's regulations in force.
7 - MAINTENANCE
7.1
Foreword
Before any servicing and/or cleaning, switch the appliance
off by setting the switches (ref. 3-4, fig. 1) to position
"O", disconnect the plug and wait for the machine to cool
off.

The components that cannot be dismantled and the appliance
itself, have to be cleaned, unless differently specified, with
cold or lukewarm water only, using non abrasive sponges and
damp cloths.

Do not use direct water sprays but squeeze the damp cloth
before using it on the appliance.

All parts to be cleaned are easily accessible and do not re-
quire the use of tools.

Regular maintenance and cleaning will preserve the machine
and maintain its efficiency for a longer period as well as con-
forming to health and hygiene norms.
In case of troubles, immediately switch the appliance off,
disconnect the power by unplugging the device and contact
the nearest SERVICE CENTRE.
7.2
Cleaning the appliance
It must be carried out daily and before any long dead time.
All removable components that have to be cleaned, can be rinsed
under running water.
7.3
Cup heating plates (ref. 1-2, fig. 1)
Clean the plates with a non-abrasive damp cloth.
7.4
Drip tray and relative grid (ref. 6,
fig. 1)
Slide the tray out of the appliance and rinse it under running water,
taking particular care with the grid.
7.5
Basket (ref. 5, fig. 1)
Rinse the basket preferably under running water, even though it
can be washed in a dishwasher.
