showerhead on the floor to improve water drainage. Complete-
ly open the stop tap(R), drain the remaining water, and then
close it again.
I (1)Remove the plug (T) from the knob of the mixer.
I (2-3-4)Remove the screw (V), slide off the knob (M) and the
cap of the mixer (C).
I (5) Unscrew the ring nut (H) that secures the thermostatic
valve.
I (6) Ease out the thermostatic valve (L).
Clean the mesh filters with a little brush and rinse. If scale is pres-
ent, wash with specific products.
I (7) Reassemble the various components by following the
same procedure in reverse order. When installing the knob of the
thermostatic valve (M), use care in ascertaining its position with
respect to the graduated scale and the safety stop.
I (8) Fasten the thermostatic valve so that the screw peg (Q)
is facing downwards, and that it fits into the groove of the brass
component.
Warnings and notes
• Ensure that installation has been carried out by qualified
personnel, in full compliance with legal and current na-
tional regulations.
• It is dangerous to use or access the components of the
electrical system while the shower panel is in use.
• After using any "water jet" function, turn off the stop tap. It is ad-
visable to turn the diverter to the "showerhead" position.
• If Rei panels shower enclosures are supplied with hot water from
an economic-type gas boiler with mechanical flame adjustment,
the boiler may not be able to provide a continuous water sup-
ply at the required temperature. In this case, if it is not possible
to replace the boiler with an electronic-modulation one, it is ad-
visable to get a qualified technician to lock the flame modula-
tion of the boiler and only use the shower panel mixer tap to reg-
ulate water temperature.
• The water supply (hot/cold water) must ensure well-balanced
pressures. A considerable difference in pressure may prevent
correct and speedy adjustment of the water temperature.
For all maintenance and/or repair operations that require
the replacement of components, original Jacuzzi
parts must be used, since failure to comply with this regu-
lation will mean that the Manufacturer is not liable for
any damage.
