3.4
Device testing - trial phone call
Once you have recorded the vocal message 1, press the TEST button: a BEEP confirms the sending of the message to the "administrator"
phone number. Through the loudspeaker it is possible to listen to the phone line tones and the typical service sounds.
3.5
Total erasing
This operation cancels all programming and messages stored on the device: disconnect the device power supply, wait some seconds, then
connect supply again and press REC and TEST buttons during the flashing of all LEDs (10 seconds), until you will hear a BEEEP, the internal
LEDs will switch off and the external ones will indicate again the GSM field.
4. User's handbook
The end user is able to check the device functioning through the 4 LEDs on the front part and through requests by SMS. These can be sent
without entering the password through the mobile phone used for the programming (administrator) or by entering the password when you use a
different mobile phone, as described hereafter.
The requests are sent by entering AA,MEM, followed by 3 letters which identify the request type, as described below. You will receive the
answer through an SMS. Warning: if the request is "ALL" the reply could be very long and divided into several SMS.
4.1
Request of device status
By sending a request SMS, you will receive an answer SMS, whose meaning is intuitive if you know well the device. In the example below, you
see information about programmed numbers (NUM) and the relevant combined messages (V=vocal – S=SMS), the SMS messages text, the
functioning time and way of the output relay (OUT00 = on-off bistable functioning – OUT followed by a number different from 0 means timed
functioning and the number indicates the activation seconds). The SIM expiry date is indicated with the month, while "Y" (Yes) after "SIM"
means possibility of transmission of remaining credit.
4.2 LED visualization on the device
In stand-by mode the 4 LEDs indicate the intensity of available GSM field: for a correct functioning at least one of the LED should be lighted up.
During an alarm call, the LED corresponding to the (vocal + SMS) message under transmission (from 1 to 4) is flashing, while when the device
is sending a confirmation SMS, the 4 LEDs flash in an alternating way. In case of total absence of GSM field, the 4 LEDs flash at the same time.
4.3
Alarm calls stopping
Whatever number called after an alarm can stop the following calls to the other programmed numbers, by entering # on its own phone keyboard
after having listened to the message and heard the BEEEP of message end.
