CEBORA S.p.A
2
KIT COMPOSITION.
The 42 V Push-Pull Circuit Kit is made up of the
elements visible in fig. 1.
3
APPLICATIONS.
The Kit is designed to be installed on Cebora
MIG Welding "King Star" systems series, both
Robot and Manual equipped with Wire Feeder
and which use Push-Pull torches.
On the Wire Feeder the Push Pull circuit
interfaces with the Motor Control board
5602546 and the Connector board 5602599.
NOTE: After installing the 42V Push-Pull
Circuit Kit, update the power source
with the latest firmware release. This
update must be done through the
appropriate
programming
provided on the website www.cebora.it
4
OPERATING PRINCIPLE.
The 42 V Push-Pull Circuit Kit helps controlling
the motor built in Push-Pull MIG torches.
It is made up of the Push-Pull 1 electronic board
that, duly connected to the Wire Feeder boards,
generates the voltage for the torch motor.
The Push-Pull board is powered, at 70 Vdc
approx, by the Motor Control board (5602546)
by means of cable 4.
By means of cable 2, it powers the torch motor
connected to the Connector board (5602599)
By means of the 14-wire flat cable 3, the Push-
Pull board receives the two signals which
control its operation:
- "PWM" (motor control);
- "Ric_PP" (Push-Pull Circuit recognition).
After installing the Push Pull Kit inside the wire
feeder, when the power source is switched on,
the Push Pull control circuit is automatically
recognized via the "Ric_PP". Through the
"PWM" the Push Pull motor control starts.
On the touch display on the power source, only
after having recognized the Kit, the management
of the Push Pull appears (see the power source
instruction manual).
In wire feeders, where provided, the rotation
direction of the motor can be reversed, this is
done by inverting the polarity of the output
voltage of the Push-Pull board.

INSTALLATION.
The Kit must be installed by qualified personnel.
All electrical connections must be made in full
compliance with current safety laws.
5.1
Installation on Manual Wire Feeder
procedure
- Disassemble the outside panels of the Wire
Feeder.
- Insert the 5602264 (1) Push-Pull board on the
plastic supports A provided (fig. 2).
- Connect the free ends of Kit cables 2, 3 to the
connectors B and C of the Control Motor
board, moreover connect the free end D of
the Control Motor board to the 4 Kit
connector, as shown in fig.1 and 2.
When the power source is turned on, during the
Start up phase, the Motor Control board
performs the hardware configuration test to
check which options are connected to the
Welding System. In this phase, if wired, the
Push Pull circuit 5602624 is recognized; in the
machine software the 42 GDC Push Pull Binzel
torch is present by default.
Connect the Push Pull torch to the 19-pole
connector on the front panel of the wire feed unit
