Probable causes
ground coffee too fine
filter blocked
water passage grid is clogged up
presence of scale
dirty filter-holder or dirty filter
ground coffee too fine
knob in position
filter-holder is clogged up
filter-holder badly positioned
insufficient rinsing
knob in position
knob opened too early
blocked steam nozzle
skimmed milk used
milk not fresh or cold enough
container doesn't have the right
shape
abnormal heating triggers off

use more coarsely ground
clean it with a brush
clean the appliance when cold
descale the expresso appliance
