4. Initial use
When the device is put into operation for the first time, check the intactness of
the product or components and their function again. Remove the kettle and the
base station out of the packaging and connect the base to a properly installed
earthed socket.
Wipe the surface of the kettle using a slightly dampened cloth. To remove any
manufacturing residues, fill the water container once with cold water up to the
maximum mark before using it for the first time. Boil the water by pressing the
"100°C" button and then pressing the "ON / OFF" button at the top of the base
station. Discard the water after the initial boiling. Never operate the device unat-
tended and check it before each use for possible damage and correct mounting.
Repeat this process as needed.
This appliance is intended for domestic use and similar applications such as: In staff
kitchens in shops, offices and other business areas, in agricultural properties, by
customers in hotels, motels and other residential facilities as well as B&Bs.
