Maintenance and Care

The following intervals apply to normal operating conditions only. If your daily work-
ing time is longer or operating conditions are difficult (very dusty work area, etc.),
shorten the specified intervals accordingly.
Complete machine
Control handle
Air filter
Pickup body in fuel tank
Fuel tank
Engine idle speed
Spark plug
Cooling inlets
Spark Arrestor in Muffler
Combustion chamber
All accessible screws and nuts (not adjust-
ing screws)
Antivibration elements
FS 460 C-M, FS 460 C-M L
Visual inspection (condition, leaks)
Clean
Check operation
Clean
Replace

Check – the cutting attachment must not
turn
If the cutting attachment turns when the
engine is idling, have machine repaired

Readjust electrode gap
Replace after every 100 operating hours
