Final steps

Make sure that the silencer does not touch any other parts of the motorcycle.
Remove all grease remains with a soft cloth sprayed with multi-purpose lubricant (Motorex Joker 440).
Cleaning prevents stains from baking on to the surface. Do not use aggressive chemical cleaners since they may damage the sticker.
Make sure that all screws are tightened. If the exhaust system is touching the trim or other parts, readjust or contact your authorized
dealer.
When the exhaust system is first put into operation, it is normal for white smoke to be emitted by the silencer. Finally, check for leaks
in the whole exhaust system. Do not stand behind the exhaust when the vehicle is used for the first time.
Maintaining the exhaust system
Perform a visual check every 2,000 km. As soon as the silencer cover becomes discolored, the damping wool must be checked and
changed if necessary. After 15,000 km at the latest, the damping wool needs to be renewed. Wear on the silencer damping material
depends on the driving style.
Periodically check whether all screws are sufficiently tight.
