Carry your PIEPS TX600 using the supplied
carrying system on your equipment or dog
collar. It is important that the PIEPS TX600 is
fixed in an appropriate way so as to rule out
losing the transmitter.
Optional: PIEPS dog collar with
integrated carrying system.
SWITCHING O N | SEL F CH E C K
Press the ON/OFF button 3 times within 2 seconds for simple and clear
activation of the PIEPS TX600. During power-on the PIEPS TX600 will
carry out a self-check where the battery and antenna are tested. A
permanent acoustic signal (piiiiiiiiiiiep) is emitted for one second.
TX600 ok: a continuous green LED-indication will show for
■
10 seconds, afterwards the LED-indication will blink green.
The PIEPS TX600 is ok and guarantees a minimum
activity of 8 hours.
TX600 error: If a continuous red LED-indication light is
■
displayed, a device error has occurred. If the warning is still
shown in an interference-free area the PIEPS TX600 is not fully
functional. Bring your PIEPS TX600 to an
authorized service center.
Battery replacement: If the LED-indication is blinking red,
■
check the battery (polarity and voltage) and replace it if
required.
IMpORTANT! During an extended period of non-use the battery
has to be taken out of the PIEPS TX600. Damages because of leaked
batteries are not included in the warranty.

In send-mode the pIEpS TX600 is transmitting with 456,00 kHz
and the LED-indication is blinking green. active search operations
are never influenced!
The PIEPS TX600 can be received with every PIEPS DSP PRO, PIEPS
DSP (with Software Version 8.2 or greater) and PIEPS VECTOR. In
the standard SEARCH-mode the PIEPS DSP PRO, PIEPS DSP and
PIEPS VECTOR will not detect the PIEPS TX600. A detection of the
PIEPS TX600 without switching to a special mode is only possible in
immediate vicinity (<1 m). Receiving the PIEPS TX600 with all other
beacons according the standard EN300718 is not possible.

Press the ON/OFF button 3 times within 2 seconds for switching off
the PIEPS TX600. The LED-indication will flash green and an acoustic
signal is emitted (prrrrie).
