This product is part of personal protective equipment for
protection (PPE) against falls from heights and should be
allocated to one individual.
These instructions for use contain important notes, a control
card and a proof of inspection.
Before using this product, all documents must have been read
and their content understood. This document must be provided
to the user by the retailer in the respective country's language
and must be kept with the equipment while it is in use.

These instructions must be carefully read and followed.
This product especially manufactured for working at great
heights or depths does not release users from the risk borne
personally.
Work and sporting activities carried out at great heights or
depths are potentially dangerous. Errors and carelessness can
lead to serious injuries or even to death. Experience is required
in order to select the correct equipment and should be chosen
after analysis of the dangers. Equipment may only be used by
trained and experienced persons or under instruction and
supervision.
Users must be aware that poor physical and/or mental health can
jeopardise safety under normal conditions and in emergencies.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable if the equipment has been
abused or used incorrectly. In all cases, the users or the persons
responsible bear the responsibility and the risk.
When using this product, we recommend that the relevant
national regulations be observed.

Before using the equipment, the user must ensure that, in the
event of falling into the PPE-system, the person caught can be
rescued immediately, safely and effectively.
Personal protection equipment products may only be used to
belay people.
PRODUCT-SPECIFIC INFORMATION
lanYardS according to en 354
When using a lanyard (fall arrest system) please be aware that
lanyards including energy absorbers and connectors may not
exceed a total maximum length of 2.0 m.
Lanyards may not be attached using knots, shortened or
lengthened.
As a general rule, it should be borne in mind that even the correct
knots can reduce the strength of tapes and slings by up to 50%.
The lanyard may only be attached to a reliable anchor point, a fall
arrest harness or other components of the fall arrest system.
If the lanyard is supplied without karabiners and without energy
absorbers, please note the following: A lanyard without energy
absorbers according to EN 355 may not be used in a fall arrest
system, connectors (karabiners) for lanyards according to
EN 354 must comply with EN 362.
Prior to using a fall arrest system, please ensure that the
necessary free space in the work area (unobstructed height) of
7 m underneath the user is provided for.
Lanyards without energy absorbers are used as restraint systems
for work positioning.
The range of motion of the user should be limited so that there
is no possibility of him/her entering a fall risk area!

The length of an anchor device must always be adjusted to the
object it is to be looped around.
