General information
Before installing the Outdoor Security Light, please read all these instructions
carefully and save them for future reference. Basic safety precautions should
always be followed. PLEASE READ AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE
INSTALLING AND USING THE OUTDOOR SECURITY LIGHT.
NOTE: Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or a person
who is informed about the standards and technical requirements of the
appliance and its proper installation.
WARNING: Before commencing installation or maintenance, the electricity
supply MUST be turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse. DO NOT rely on wall
switch alone to turn off power.
Before assembling and attempting installation, make sure all parts are

available. Check the parts with the packaging contents.
Risk of fire. Do not aim the lamps at combustible surface within 3ft. Aim the

motion sensor away from heat producing sources to prevent false triggering.
Also, avoid windows, white walls and water within the detection zone.
Some codes require installation by a qualified electrician.

Be sure to connect ground lead. Supply leads must be at least 22AWG PVC

coated wire.
Must have mounting gasket for proper installation.

The wattage of the LED used must not exceed the specific ratings.

DO NOT look directly into the light when it is switched on.

These lamps can be used outdoors. The height from the ground can be from

minimum of 3 feet to maximum of 13 feet.
DO NOT use without a protective cover. If protective cover is broken, it must

be replaced with a new cover.
The security light is for wall mount only. To avoid water damage and electrical
10.
shock, keep lamp holders 30° below horizontal and keep lamps at least 1"
from the sensor.
Only install one security light on one wall power socket.

Avoid pointing the sensor towards trees, street traffic and some regularly

moving objects. Do not allow the lamps to block the sensor.
To avoid the risk of electrical shock or serious personal injury, always operate

with dry hands.
