PREFACE
Congratulations and many thanks for selecting one of our prod-
ucts. We sincerely wish you long and problem free use in the years
ahead. The experience of our technicians, who have been working
in this industrial segment for many years, has permitted the man-
ufacturing of this innovative and high quality ice-maker that, if cor-
rectly handled as specified in this manual and not mishandled or
altered, will not represent any hazard to people who use it. This
publication is intended to aquaint you with the correct use of this ice
machine and with the care that is required for trouble free opera-
tion and optimum performance. It is important to adhere to the in-
structions indicated herein and that the user will never put their
hands into the compressor-condenser compartment with the risk of
mishandling controls and safety devices. Therefore, we suggest
that you thoroughly read this manual, paying close attention to the
warnings and advises that are given. Whenever communicating
with the manufacturer about your machine, always indicate the
model and serial number.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The icemaking machines are approved by VDE and GS and
the relative symbols are put on the packing, serial plate and
body of the machine (pict. nr. 13).

TENSION DIRECTIVE 73/23-89/336 AND THE COVER
OF THE MANUAL IS MARKED ACCORDINGLY.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons -including
children- with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabili-
ties, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been fiven superfision or instruction concerning use of the ap-
pliance by a person responsible for their safeti. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with ap-
pliance.

INSTALLATION
Before bringing the icemaker into action perform the following
operations:
1) Check that ice maker has not been damaged during tran-
sport (pict. nr. 1).
2) Remove the outfit material from the bin: feeding pipe, en-
velope with documentation, levelling feet (for the model
N30) and ice-scoop.
3) Clean the inside of the storage bin with warm water and a
little sodium bicarbonate; rinse with clean water and wipe
thoroughly.
4) Place the icemaker in its selected location and ensure that
it is properly levelled (pict. nr. 10).
5) Machines N25BI – N25LBI – N35BI are suitable for built-
in installation inside a cupboard with the following dimen-
sions (fig. 11):
N25BI A 470 x B 600 x C 620 mm
N25LBI – N35BI A 570 x B 600 x C 690 mm
Before installing the machine make sure that:
a) the room temperature must not fall below 10°C
(50°F) or above 40°C (100°F) (pict. nr. 7).
b) the main water temperature must not fall below 5°C
(40°F) or above 40°C (100°F).
c) the main water pressure must not fall below 1 atm.
(14 Psi) or above 5 atms. (70 Psi). If pressure is
above 5 atms. (70 Psi) a pressure regulator should
be fitted on the water supply machine (pict. nr. 8).
d) machine is away from sources of heat and in a suf-
ficiently ventilated area (pict. nr. 9).
ATTENTION:
The icemaker must be connected to a
POTABLE WATER SUPPLY
