ature that is known to go beyond the

measurement range (for example, the
weld metal temperature)�

keep in mind that it cannot measure

faces (glass, plastic)� In this case, the
surface temperature of such transpar-
ent materials will be measured�
• When you operate the appliance,
keep in mind that vapor, dust or smoke in
the air can distort the appliance readings�
• Do not allow moisture to contact the
appliance or get inside it� Do not im-
merse the appliance in liquid�
• Protect the appliance against elec-
tromagnetic fields (for example, elec-
tric arc welding or induction heaters)�
• In case of sudden changes in am-
bient temperature, do not operate the
appliance for at least 30 minutes�
• Do not leave the appliance near ob-
jects with high temperature�

Maintenance of your appliance must
be performed by qualified personnel
using the recommended spare parts�
