Introduction
To complete the VISUALTECH
Switchboard (SB) Central Unit capable of handling calls in 5 wires video installations. Figure 1
describes, for example, the wiring assignation for VISUALTECH installations using UTP CAT-
5.

With the creation of the VISUALTECH switchboard, old audio installations which
already had a switchboard may be upgraded with modern video equipment that will operate in
conjunction with the VISUALTECH switchboard. Thus, it will be possible to incorporate video
in installations that have a switchboard, without rewire nor having to make any type of work.
Figure 2 shows the switchboard in standby
