Switch connection

Switch the entire machine/system off line!
While you are connecting the safe bus node UE3212 or connecting other devices, the
machine may start unintentionally.
Ensure that the entire machine/system is disconnected during the electrical installation.
Only supply power to connected switch contacts via the safe bus node UE3212!
Ensure that the switch contacts connected are only supplied with power via the safe bus
node UE3212, as otherwise correct function cannot be guaranteed.
Never connect inputs I2 (n) to both sockets I1/I2 and I2!
The simultaneous connection of switching contacts to both inputs I2 (n) is not allowed, as
these inputs are connected internally.
Connect the first switching contact to pin 1 (L+) and pin 2 (input I1 (p)) on socket I1/I2
Connect the second switching contact to pin 3 (L–) and pin 4 (input I2 (n)) on socket
I1/I2
or
Pin 1 (I2 (n)) and pin 2 (L–) on socket I2.
If only one contact is to be read, bridge the unused input.
Always cover I2 socket when it is not in use!
Always cover the socket I2 with the enclosed sealing cap if it is not used, as otherwise only
a lower enclosure rating will be achieved.
