NOTE: This fence comes equipped with T-bolts which will
work on drill press table with parallel T-slots sized between
5/8" to 13/16". If your table has a different size T-slot, the slots
are not parallel or it does not use T-slots, additional hardware
or clamps may be required. If the T-slots are not parallel, they
can't be used and the fence must be clamped instead.
HIGH PROFILE SET-UP
To reduce the risk of injury, turn tool off and
disconnect it from power source before installing and
removing accessories, before adjusting or when making
repairs. An accidental start-up can cause injury.
ATTACH THE MOUNTING CLAMP ASSEMBLIES (FIG. 3)
1. Loosen screws (H) on mounting clamp assembly (B1).
2. Slide T-nut (I) into T-slot (J) on back of fence.
3. Slide the mounting clamp assembly down the T-slot.
4. Repeat for other mounting clamp assembly (B2).
ATTACH FENCE TO TABLE (FIG. 4, 5)
1. With cam-action clamps (M) pulled up, line up T-bolt (K) of
mounting clamp assembly into T-slots (L) on back of the drill
press table.
2. Slide fence (A) and mounting clamp assemblies (B)
forward to desired location along two T-slot grooves (K) on
table.
3. Slide fence (A) left or right to place it in center, or whatever
position you desire.
NOTE: Use laser (if equipped) or a drill bit to align the 0" mark
on the fence scale to the center of the chuck.
4. Tighten four mounting clamp assembly screw (one shown
at H) so fence will no longer slide back and forth.
NOTE: Don't overtighten these screws.
5. Push down cam-action clamps (M) to lock the fence.
ASSEMBLING HIGH-PROFILE FLIP STOP (FIG. 6)
1. Mate the high-profile flip stop extension (D) to the back of
the low-profile flip stop assembly (C), as shown in Fig 6.
2. Attach the two pieces (C) and (D) using knurled thumb
screw (E).
ATTACHING FLIP STOP TO FENCE (FIG. 7,8)
1. Loosen know (P) then place T-bolt (N) on high-profile flip
stop assembly into T-slot (O) on top of fence (A).
2. Use plastic know (P) to tighten high-profile flip stop
assembly anywhere along the fence to provide a workpiece
stop of whatever length is desirable.
