5 Diagnosis
5.1 Display on the Mod/Net LED
The two-coloured LED on the field bus module enables
speedy on-the-spot diagnosis of the state of communica-
tion. The error messages of the SPC200 can be transmitted
via the bit Strobed I/O Message Connection (see manual).
LED Operating status
Lights Normal; the SPC200 is on-
up line and in contact with a
green communication partner
Is out – The bus interface of the
SPC200 is not supplied
with current
– The SPC200 does not
recognize any communi-
cation on the bus
Flashes The SPC200 is ready for
green data exchange and is online
on the bus. But there is no
communication connection
to a master. The SPC200 is
probably not yet assigned to
a master.

Error treatment
None
S Check the power supply
of the bus interface/
internal logic.
S Check the physical con-
nection to the bus and
the terminating resistor.
S Complete the configur-
ation. Check/correct the
scan list of the appropri-
ate master.
