RECEPTION

This pump is designed to drain, transfer liquid, for empting swimming pools or other de-
posits and get water from wells.
Liquids transported by these pumps will be generally clean or lightly treated in the case of
private and public pools. Can also be used with other fluids as described in point 6.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

All equipments supplied by PSH-2010, SLU. are properly protected to prevent possible ac-
cidents. However in any case all the safety recommendations set in the pump, in documents
supplied with or in regulations, must be followed-up.
The non-following up of the safety regulations relieves PSH-2010, SLU from any responsi-
bility.
The safety recommendations listed are based on our experience and on normal use of the
equipment
The installer / user has sole responsibility in evaluating specific risks existing at each facil-
ity and in non-allowing the connection and starting-up of the pump without adequate pro-
tections.
GENERAL

The user should not perform operations non- permitted in this manual. Any operation or han-
dling should always be carried by appropriate means, by properly trained personnel and hav-
ing read and understood this manual.
Any installation, maintenance, repair or transportation must be done with the pump stopped
and safely disconnected.
The good condition of the installation, both in electricity and plumbing, must be regularly
checked. If its state is not safety, the pump must be immediately stopped and repaired. This
is especially important if the defects found are in electrical appliances or wiring.
Make sure that the equipment is placed on a dry floor, when starting it, by switching-on or
by connecting to a socket.
Never run the equipment with wet hands and / or without adequate footwear.
Before starting the pump, all its elements, especially those relating to security, must be prop-
erly installed and secured. Never start the pump when there are people in vicinity.
Never use the cable or the discharge pipe as a means of raising or supporting the pump. You
should place a rope, wire rope or chain, appropriate for the pump weight, and attach it to the
handle or hooks available.
