Instruction Manual for Series Regal.2
To disconnect, pull the plug, not the cable.
The cable should not be used for the installation or relocation of the pump. Fix a rope to the
handle for pump submerging or raising and securing.
The pump should be rinsed with clean water after pumping chlorinated pool water or other
waste water.
The sand and other abrasive materials in the liquid can increase the wear and reduce the
pump efficiency.
Avoid pump operating when discharge outlet is closed.
Avoid pump operating with the metal grid blocked.
The submersible pump can aspire sewage water to approx. 5 mm height. This flat suction
height of about 5 mm. only can be achieved if pump is set up for manual operating.
The submersible pump is equipped with device for automatic disaerating whose function is
to eliminate air bubbles in the pump. If the water level drops below the vent valve (4), it is pos-
sible that the water flows through the valve. This effect is not a defect in the pump, but serves
to get-out the air from the pump.
Children under 12 are not allowed to use the pump. Keep them away from the unit when run-
ning.
MAINTENANCE
15
Always disconnect the pump before handling.
Submersible pumps generally do not require specific maintenance.
When dirt gets inside the pump, the suction base (6) can be removed by unscrewing the
three head studs (8). In this way the impeller chamber can be cleaned.
For security reasons, a damaged impeller (9) can only be changed in Authorized Technical
Service Center.
Repairs of electrical parts should only be done by our Authorized Technical Services.
Store the pump in a dry place to protect it from frost damage.
Periodically check that the float is free and verify that the grid is clean. Clean it immediately
if it is dirty. Any other maintenance operation, especially those related to the motor, must be
done by PSH-2010, SLU. staff or authorised technical service.
If oil leaks in the pump are detected, stop it immediately and contact an authorized service
centre.
