It is imperative that the pump is checked by an electrician and to have a cable with quality
H07RN H05RN-F or-F. The cable can be replaced only by a licensed electrician or your dealer.
Make sure electrical connections are done within a dry area and protected from flooding.
It is necessary to protect the plug and cable (1) from heat, oil and sharp edges.
The installation rules according to VDE 0100 part 072. must be respected. Please contact an
electrician.
In Austria, according OVE.B / EN 60 555, paragraph 1-3, pumps used in pools and water
gardens and equipped with original cable must be fed through a voltage isolation transformer
OVE approved. The nominal voltage must not exceed 230 or 120V.
The use of small size or poor quality components in the electrical installation can cause motor
damage.
The connection to plug or similar means, the outlet should be safe, and be located in a place
protected from flooding.
PUMP STARTING

Before starting the pump, check that all security and safety elements are properly installed
and secured.
Fully open the discharge valve. Submerge the pump and place it in its operating position. Do
not use the cable for pump placing on site or for locking it in position. For this purpose use
additional cord fixed to the pump handle.
Always check the pump (especially power cables and plug) before each running. The pump
should not be used if it is damaged.
Start the pump. Check for symptoms of malfunction and excessive noises or vibrations.

OPERATING TIPS

Dry running increases wear and should be avoided. When the water stops flowing, the pump
must be immediately turned off.
In case of overheating, the thermal protector automatically shuts off the pump. Once cooled,
the engine automatically turns on again.
