The creation of an excessive vacuum in the vacuum devices or the improper use of the immobilization belts
can cause injury or damage to the patient
7. STORAGE
The vacuum mattress, being built in materials suitable for normal environmental conditions of use does not require any particular
care. It is however recommended to keep it in a closed place, being careful to protect the stretcher from dust and dirt to guarantee
hygienic conditions; also avoid sharp knocks, so as not to damage the components and/or not to cause tears that may render the
damaged part useless. It is advisable to store the mattresses in a place which may be easily reached by operators.
Periodically check the integrity of the components and the hygienic conditions of the storage place, to obtain a
perfect efficiency and safety at the moment of utilization
