The operating instructions make it easier to get
to know the device and to make full use of its
facilities.
The operating instructions contain important
information on how to use the device safely,
properly and
attention to these instructions will help to avoid
danger, to reduce repair costs and breakdowns
and to increase the reliability and useful life of
the device.
The label specifies the machine series, the
frame size, the most important operating data
and the serial number.
Please always quote this information in case of
queries, when placing subsequent orders and
especially when ordering spare parts.
The device has been built using state-of-the-art
technology and in compliance with recognised
safety regulations. Despite that there could be
danger to life and limb of the user or to third
parties or damage to property in the way that it
is employed.
1.2 Relevant Documentation
Various documents are produced with every
device that belong to the overall technical
documentation. These are:
- Device operating instructions
- Drive operating instuctions
- Accessories operating instructions (listed in the
specifications)
- Acceptance report from the TÜV (Technical
Certification Authority) etc.
- Performance run report
- Installation drawing (dimensions sheet)
- Test certificate for explosion model
- Conformity statement /
manufacturer's declaration
- Specification with all data

produced and supplied in every case. For this
please check the details in the specification.

• Prior to commissioning make sure that the
operators have read and understood the
operating instructions. They must always be
available. Not the operator but the owner is
responsible for safety!

regulations and laws that apply in the
operating company and / or country where
the pumps are to be used are observed .
• Use the device only if it is in perfect technical
condition and observing all the instructions
in the operating manual.
• Be sure to remedy any faults promptly.
• Observe instructions that are stated directly
on the device (e.g. arrows indicating
direction of rotation and the marking for fluid
connections). Always maintain in easily
legible order!
• The installation, operating, maintenance
and repair instructions contained in this
operating manual must always be observed.
2.2
The device is designed for installation in an
overall machine or system in accordance with
the original specifications and it may only be
operated observing the figures stated in this
technical documentation relating to delivery
fluid, delivery rate, revolutions per minute,
density, pressure and temperature as well as
motor performance or other data prescribed in
the specifications.
Do not use the device for any other purpose than
the one prescribed. Do not change the device.
This could lead to additional danger and
damage to property. The manufacturer cannot
be held liable for this.
It is essential that the manufacturer is consulted
before making any adjustments for a new
application.
