2.3 User Responsibilities

2.6 Safety Instructions for
Installation
• The device is delivered without any
protective covers. The necessary protective
covers must be fitted by the system supplier
when integrating the device into the plant
(e.g. if hot liquids with a temperature over
60° C are transported).
• If the device is built into a duct then it must
be ensured that there is enough ventilation
(for cooling the motor) and enough drainage
facility for leaked water (at least DN 40).
• Under no circumstances must there be any
conducting connection between the metal
parts of the motor and any liquid.

Connection, Commissioning,
Maintenance and Repair
• Prior to switching on / commissioning the
device, always make sure that no-one will
be endangered by the device starting up!
