17.0 - FOLDING FRAME

The version with five working units is equipped with a folding frame that reduces
overall width and facilitates transfer in the field or on the road.
To fold the frame, remove pin (Fig. 10.A) and close the outer frames towards the
center, until they catch (Fig. 10.B). To open up the frame and make it possible for the
vibrating ridger to start working, follow the same procedure in reverse order.
Take maximum care in carrying out the operations described above to avoid
possible accidents, and make sure that there are no untrained people in the working
vicinity.

18.0 - ACCESSORIES

Other possible accessories (e.g. microgranulator, fertilizer-broadcaster, etc.) come
supplied with specific instructions for use and assembly.

19.0 - MAINTENANCE

The maintenance intervals listed below are guidelines for conditions of normal use.
In the case of more demanding working conditions due to environment or seasonal
factors, the frequency of maintenance operations must be increased accordingly.
Always carry out maintenance operations in accordance with the safety
regulations set out in point 8.0.
19.1 Constantly check the depth wheels (Fig. 9.M), the flexible springs (Fig. 9.N),
and the ridger disks or ploughshares (Fig. 9.C - 9.H) to make sure that they are clean
and free of dirt residue or foreign materials.
19.2 Every 20 working hours
Grease the depth wheel bushes (Fig. 9.M)
19.3 Every 40 working hours
- Grease the parallelogram unit bushes (Fig. 9.D)
- Check that screws are tight.
19.4 Temporary inactivity
If the machine is to be temporarily inactive (more than 2-3 days), oil the ridger disks
or ploughshares to prevent rust from forming.
19.5 - Recommended lubricants
Grease and oil can be used in the same way as for the tractor, in accordance with
the warnings and precautions appearing on the relative containers.
