3 Preparation
3.1 Place battery
1 Remove the Battery
cover.
Note: Please use sup-
plied Screw-

driver.
2 Insert the 3V lithium bat-
tery type CR2032.
Note: Be sure to place
the positive (+)
side of the bat-

tery upward.
3 Put the Battery cover on the battery compartment and fasten the screw.
4 Press System reset button (also refer to 4.1 P).

3.2 Replace battery

1 Use a thin stick to remove the Battery and
insert a new 3V lithium battery type CR2032.
Note: Refer to 3.1 "Place battery".
Caution! Do not use a metal object to
remove Battery!
2 Press System reset button.
Notes:
• The battery is weak when only (
blinks. Replace the battery with a new one
(CR2032). When ( ) mark starts to
blink, the unit stops counting, the value of
the latest number of steps is shown, and the
time is displayed as "--:--".
• When the battery is removed, the set time will be deleted. You need to set the time again.
• The data (number of steps, etc.) of today are automatically stored in the memory when the
time reaches on the hour. The data from the time on the hour to the time of battery removal
will be deleted as the battery is replaced. It is recommended that you replace the battery
when you are not walking.
• Do not replace the battery around midnight. The measured values of the day when the bat-
tery has been removed will be added to the measured values of the day the battery has
been inserted. (The days when the battery has been removed and inserted are considered
as the same day.)
