8. While holdin g down button 1, turn on the pow er.
The function test mode starts and "Self test" appears on the LCD.
9. Press button 3 (
"Calibrate Label" appears on the LCD.
10. Press button 4 (
Paper sensor calibration starts.
11. "Onlin e" will app ear on the LCD if pap er sensor calibration is successful.
If pap er sensor calib ration fails, an error message will appear on the LCD.
To load black ma rk paper
1. Turn off the power.
2. Pull the cover open lever forward and open the pap er cover.
3. Slid e the paper damp er stopp er in the direct ion ind icated by arrow A and release the
paper damp er lock.
Lock the paper damp er whenever you are using black mark la bel paper.
4. Load the paper roll so that th e printab le side of the pape r is facing down.
5. Check to make sure the paper is abo ve the paper d amper.
6. Adjust the paper position so no black mark is located under the black mark sensor.
